Key responsibilities
- Assemble and customize watches (swap dials, hands, bezels, chapter rings, crystals, and cases).
- Service and regulate mechanical movements.
- Perform casing, lubrication, water-resistance testing, and quality checks on finished builds.
- Diagnose and repair customer watches, including timing adjustments and part replacements.
- Keep builds consistent with reference specs and maintain a clean, organized workbench.
- Communicate with customers on custom build requests and repair timelines.
- Hands-on experience modding or repairing watches (hobbyist or professional - portfolio/examples welcome).
- Comfortable working with small components under magnification; steady hands and patience.
- Familiarity with aftermarket watch parts and suppliers.
- Basic movement servicing skills (oiling, regulation, case/crown/crystal work).
- Bonus: experience with watchmaking tools (movement holders, hand-setting tools, case openers, timegraphers).
- A genuine interest in watches and craftsmanship.
- Competitive pay based on experience.
- Hands-on work building and customizing watches, not just routine repairs.
- A role in a growing niche within the watch industry.
