Excavator Operator
We are searching for a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team in El-Ain. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to excavate and move materials on construction sites. Your main duties will include operating the excavator according to safety guidelines, performing routine maintenance on the equipment, and communicating with other workers on the site.
To be successful in this role, you should have at least 2 years of experience operating an excavator and a valid operator's license. You must also be able to read and understand construction plans and have basic knowledge of excavation techniques. Physical strength and stamina are also important attributes for this job as you will be required to work long hours in all weather conditions.
Responsibilities- Operate the excavator safely and efficiently according to instructions from the supervisor
- Perform daily maintenance checks on the equipment
- Ensure all safety regulations are followed at all times
- Communicate effectively with other workers on the site
- Use hand signals or radios to coordinate movements with other workers
- Read and interpret construction plans to determine where to dig
- Operate controls to manipulate the shovel or other attachments
- Load and unload materials onto trucks or conveyor belts
- Monitor fuel levels and report any maintenance issues immediately
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid operator's license for excavators required
- At least 2 years of experience operating an excavator on construction sites
- Ability to read and understand construction plans
- Physical strength and stamina
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Good communication skills
- Basic knowledge of excavation techniques
- Ability to work long hours in all weather conditions
