Automotive Technician – Malta
Automotive Technician – Full-time position in Malta – Hands On Systems Ltd – Single Permit application support provided for selected candidates.
About UsHands On Systems Ltd is a technology and telematics company based in Malta, Europe, providing advanced GPS tracking fleet management IoT and related technology solutions to clients in Malta and internationally. Our Technical Department works with a wide range of vehicles and equipment installing modern GPS tracking systems sensors electronic devices and other telematics technologies on cars trucks commercial vehicles boats and other mobile assets.
We are currently looking for experienced Automotive Technicians who are interested in relocating to Malta and joining our team on a full-time basis.
- Carrying out technical installations on various types of vehicles
- Installing GPS tracking devices sensors cameras and other automotive electronic equipment
- Installing and configuring advanced automotive and telematics technologies
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical and electronic faults in vehicles
- Supporting testing and maintenance of installed equipment
Keeping management informed of any technical issues or difficulties encountered during installations - Continuously learning about new automotive and telematics technologies including attending training sessions when required
- Maintaining a clean organised and safe working environment
- Working flexible hours or shifts when required depending on operational needs
- A Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Automotive Electronics or an equivalent qualification.
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience.
- Previous hands‑on experience with automotive electrical/electronic systems.
- Experience with automotive technologies, vehicle electronics, GPS systems, cameras, sensors or similar equipment would be considered an advantage.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer knowledge, including MS Office and other software applications.
- A valid driving licence.
- A clean police conduct certificate.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A motivated, responsible and hands‑on approach to work.
- Willingness to relocate to Malta.
