Candidate will be responsible for the inspection, service/maintenance and repair of all company heavy vehicles and Forklift.
Need to schedule and execute the periodic maintenance of all trucks, trailers and Forklift.
To liaison with the spare parts suppliers and garages ( in major problems) to repair these vehicles on time.
Minimize the lagging time of vehicles under repair and to minimize frequency of break down time of these vehicles.
-Keep accurate records of inspections, repairs , parts and maintenance
To minimize the maintenance cost of the vehicles.
Ability to find out the problems of Trucks, Trailers and Forklift Machines and to fix it.
Able to carry on the periodic maintenance of these vehicles and machines.
Capable to work long hours.
Good analytical and logical skills.
Thorough knowledge in Diesel engines, hydraulic engines and its repairing.
Communication skill in Hindi/Urdu, Reading and writing skills in English.
Candidate need to be hard working and proactive in nature.
10 years of experience as a diesel mechanic, out of which
Minimum 5 years’ experience in repairing of trucks and trailers.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in Forklift repairing.
High School diploma or equivalent, Diesel Mechanic training preferred. Should have knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems and diagnostic equipment. Ability to read technical manuals and follow repair procedures. Valid driving license is an advantage.
