Carpenter - Al Buraymi, Oman

Our construction company is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Al Buraymi, Oman. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in carpentry and possess strong math skills for measuring and cutting materials.

A biometric passport is preferred but not required. This position is suitable for men who are dedicated, hardworking, and able to work well in a team environment.

• Read blueprints, drawings or sketches to determine specifications and materials needed
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to specifications
• Cut or shape materials using hand or power tools
• Assemble and fasten materials together using nails, screws or adhesives
• Install structures such as windows, frames, floorings, trimmings and hardware
• Repair or replace damaged frameworks or other structures
• Inspect completed installations for conformance with specifications

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Proficient in using hand and power tools
• Strong math skills for measuring and cutting materials accurately
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks such as lifting heavy objects
• Attention to detail with good problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment

Salary: 1200$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
