Welder

Welder (Al Buraymi, Oman)

We are in need of a skilled Welder to join our team in Al Buraymi, Oman. As a Welder, you will be responsible for using specialized equipment to join or cut metal parts and maintain the cleanliness and safety of the work area.

• Proven experience as a Welder
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
• Knowledge of different welding techniques (MIG, TIG, ARC)
• Familiarity with safety precautions and procedures
• Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy equipment and materials
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Certification in welding from a recognized institution is preferred

• Study blueprints, sketches or specifications to determine the required materials and welding methods
• Set up welding machines based on the project requirements
• Operate various welding equipment such as MIG, TIG, ARC welders
• Clean and prepare metal surfaces before welding by removing rust, dirt or debris
• Follow safety procedures at all times while working with hot metals and hazardous materials
• Inspect completed welds for accuracy and ensure they meet quality standards
• Repair any defective welds or equipment malfunctions
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition
• Communicate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met

We offer a competitive salary of 1600$ per month for this position.

This role is based in Al Buraymi, Oman. Candidates must be able to work without accommodation.
