Fitter - Pipe ​/ Mecha

Responsibilities

• Install and assemble a wide range of piping systems ensuring precise connections and adherence to engineering blueprints and specifications for optimal fluid or gas transfer.
• Fabricate and modify pipe sections, fittings, and supports using various tools and techniques including cutting, threading, and welding to meet project requirements.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on existing pipework and mechanical equipment, identifying and rectifying potential issues before they accelerate.
• Troubleshoot and repair leaks, blockages, and mechanical failures in piping systems and associated machinery, minimizing downtime and ensuring operational continuity.

• Possess a vocational certificate or diploma in pipe fitting, mechanical fitting, or a related trade.
• Hold relevant certifications such as NDT, welding certifications, or safety training (e.g., OSHA).
• Have a minimum of 5 years of hands‑on experience as a pipe fitter or mechanical fitter in industrial or construction environments.
• Demonstrate proficiency in reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings, P&IDs, and isometric diagrams.
