Rotating technician I

K  is looking for a ROTATING TECHNICIAN who maintains rotating equipment in good condition. Responsibilities include installation, maintenance, and repair of rotating equipment and mechanical systems to required standards.

Must be a Saudi National.

• Allocate maintenance activities to various technicians and assemble the team.
• Supervise all ongoing jobs and update progress to Foreman.
• Organize manpower resources, equipment, and material availability.
• Arrange necessary work permits before starting work.
• Provide technical advice to technicians to use proper tools and equipment.
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance Planning and Technical departments to execute and complete the job.
• Ensure SAP data input, history, and actual hours are maintained.
• Attend daily and weekly maintenance progress meetings.
• Maintain strict compliance with SATORP standards and guidelines.
• Ensure compliance of safe work practices, hazardous work regulations and PPE usage according to SATORP standards.
• Encourage reporting of near misses, unsafe conditions and acts.
• Participate in safety audits.
• Attend safety and technical training as scheduled.

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in oil & gas maintenance – Diploma.
• Strong technical understanding of maintenance management of oil & gas facilities.
• Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills.
• Proven leadership skills with large organizations.
• Maturity of judgment under pressure and ability to resolve problems.
• Strategic management skills.
• Ability to achieve business results working in a multi-cultural environment.
• Flexibility to travel internationally and live in KSA.
