Library Assistant - Al-Malikiyah, Syria

We are seeking a Library Assistant to join our team in Al-Malikiyah, Syria. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the librarian with various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the library.

• Organize and maintain library materials, including shelving books and other resources
• Assist patrons with finding and checking out materials
• Process new materials and catalog them according to the library's system
• Help with creating displays and promoting library events
• Monitor and enforce library policies to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all patrons
• Conduct basic reference searches for patrons using various resources
• Assist with maintaining the library's online catalog and website

• High school diploma or equivalent;
  Bachelor's degree in Library Science preferred but not required
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Basic computer skills

Salary: $1200 per month

This is a full-time position, without experience required. We do not provide accommodation, but we offer a free visa and ticket for international candidates. If you are passionate about books and helping others access information, we would love to have you on our team.
