Instrument Technician Iraq

We are hiring an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Al-Malikiyah Iraq. As an Instrument Technician you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various instruments and equipment used in industrial processes.

This is a contract position with a salary of 1500$ per month and includes accommodation.

• Inspect, test and troubleshoot instruments and equipment to identify malfunctions and determine necessary repairs
• Perform preventive maintenance on instruments to ensure their proper functioning
• Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools and precision measuring instruments
• Calibrate instruments according to specifications
• Install new instruments as needed
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to improve instrument performance

• Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role
• Proficient in troubleshooting techniques for various types of instruments
• Experience working with pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature controllers and other industrial instruments
• Familiarity with reading technical drawings and schematics
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools and precision measuring instruments
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

• Prior experience working in the oil or gas industry
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to working with industrial instruments
• Nationality preference Iraqi
