Housekeeping Manager (Malayalee)

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team in Al-Rayyan, Qatar. As a Malayalee, you will be an integral part of our diverse workforce and play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our establishment.

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department, including scheduling, training, and supervising staff
• Ensure that all rooms and public areas are cleaned to the highest standards
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms to ensure they meet our standards
• Handle guest complaints or concerns regarding housekeeping services in a professional and timely manner
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth flow of operations, such as coordinating with front desk for room assignments and maintenance for repairs
• Create work schedules for housekeeping staff according to occupancy levels
• Train new employees on housekeeping policies, procedures, and safety protocols
• Maintain records of employee attendance and performance evaluations
• Prepare reports on department expenses and budget deviations

• Fluent in Malayalam language (written and spoken)
• Proven experience as a Housekeeping Manager or similar role in a hotel setting
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
• Kno wledgeable about cleaning products, techniques, and safety protocols
• Good communication skills both written and verbal in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus)
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
