Front Desk Receptionist

Overview

Front Desk Receptionist vacancy in Al-Rayyan, Qatar. We are seeking a friendly and efficient Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at a busy hotel in Al-Rayyan. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. This position is open to candidates of any nationality.

• Greet and welcome guests in a warm and professional manner
• Check-in and check-out guests efficiently, while maintaining accuracy
• Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or take messages
• Handle guest complaints and resolve any issues promptly
• Maintain knowledge of hotel facilities, services, and local attractions to assist guests with inquiries
• Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions
• Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure guest rooms are ready for check-in
• Assist with reservations and provide information on room availability
• Keep the front desk area clean, organized, and presentable at all times

• High school diploma or equivalent education required; hospitality degree or certification is a plus
• Proven experience as a Front Desk Receptionist or similar role in the hospitality industry
• Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly personality
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
• Proficiency in using computer software such as MS Office, reservation systems, and POS systems
• Willingness to work shifts including weekends and holidays

Salary: 1000$ per month
