Housekeeping Manager - English Speaking

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team at a luxurious hotel in Al-Rayyan, Qatar. As the Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of all guest rooms and public areas within the hotel.

• Manage and supervise a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring high levels of productivity and efficiency
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in all areas of the hotel
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that they are replenished in a timely manner
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet our standards of cleanliness
• Train new housekeeping staff on company policies, procedures, and proper cleaning techniques
• Handle guest complaints or requests related to housekeeping services in a timely and professional manner
• Collaborate with other departments such as front office, maintenance, and laundry to ensure smooth operations
• Prepare reports on housekeeping activities, including budgeting and forecasting for supplies and staffing needs

• Previous experience as a Housekeeping Manager or similar role in a luxury hotel setting is preferred
• Excellent communication skills in English is required; ability to speak multiple languages is an asset
• Strong leadership skills with proven experience in managing and motivating a team
• Knowledge of different cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment used in the hospitality industry
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and prioritize tasks effectively
• Attention to detail with a strong eye for cleanliness is essential
• Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
