We are in search of a skilled and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at a prestigious hotel located in the bustling city of Al-Rayyan, Qatar. As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to hotel guests, handling all front desk duties and ensuring smooth operations of the reception area.

• Greet guests in a friendly and welcoming manner and provide them with necessary information about the hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
• Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently while adhering to all hotel policies and procedures
• Answer incoming phone calls and take reservations or messages as required
• Process payments accurately using the hotel's computer system and maintain accurate records of transactions
• Assist guests with any inquiries or complaints they may have and escalate issues to the appropriate department if necessary
• Keep the front desk area clean, tidy, and well-stocked with necessary supplies at all times
• Collaborate with other hotel departments such as housekeeping, maintenance, and F&B to ensure smooth operations and provide excellent guest experience
• Help with administrative tasks such as filing, sorting mail, and maintaining guest records

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in Hotel Management will be an advantage
• Proven experience as a Front Desk Receptionist or similar role in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of any other language will be considered an asset
• Strong customer service orientation with a friendly demeanor
• Good organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
• Proficient in using computers and familiar with hotel reservation systems/software
