Radio Technician

As a Radio Technician you will be responsible for installing maintaining and repairing communication equipment such as radios and transmitters Your main duties will include troubleshooting technical issues conducting routine maintenance checks and keeping accurate records of all work performed

• Install new communication equipment and ensure it is functioning properly
• Troubleshoot and repair any technical issues with radios and transmitters
• Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure equipment is in good working condition
• Keep accurate records of all work performed including repairs installations and maintenance
• Collaborate with other technicians to resolve complex technical problems
• Follow safety protocols at all times while working with live equipment
• Stay updated on advancements in communication technology and attend training as needed

• Diploma or certificate in Electronics or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radio Technician
• Strong knowledge of radio frequency RF systems
• Familiarity with radio programming software
• Ability to read schematics and use testing equipment
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Willingness to work flexible hours if needed

The salary for this position is 1700$ per month
