Carpenter - Woodworking and Construction Specialist (Al-Rayyan, Qatar)
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter with experience in woodworking and construction to join our team in Al-Rayyan, Qatar. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. Your role will involve interpreting blueprints, measuring and cutting materials, assembling parts, and ensuring the quality of the final product.
Responsibilities:- Study blueprints and specifications to determine materials required and dimensions of structure or fixture
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge
- Cut materials to size using hand tools or power saws
- Assemble parts by nailing or screwing them together
- Install structures such as windows, frames, floorings, trimmings etc.
- Repair damaged or worn structures by replacing damaged parts or making necessary repairs
- Inspect finished product for quality control
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations at all times
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Proficient in using hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels etc.
- Knowledge of woodworking techniques and methods
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings
- Physical stamina to handle manual labor tasks for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination
- Good communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship preferred
Salary: 1200$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
