Our client is a rapidly growing industrial manufacturing organisation serving energy, infrastructure, construction, and industrial clients across Qatar and the wider GCC. As part of its commercial growth strategy, the company is seeking a senior business development leader to expand market share, strengthen strategic partnerships, and identify new revenue opportunities.

The Role

The Business Development Director will define and execute the company’s commercial growth strategy across existing and emerging markets. The role will identify new business opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, lead major commercial negotiations, and oversee key account development across government and private sector clients. Working closely with the executive leadership team, the Director will evaluate new markets, support bid strategies, develop long‑term client relationships, and contribute to the company’s strategic planning and revenue growth objectives.

The role carries full responsibility for pipeline development, commercial performance, and market expansion initiatives.

Candidate Profile

Candidates should possess extensive senior‑level business development experience within industrial manufacturing, engineering, infrastructure, energy, or related B2B sectors. Proven success in securing major commercial contracts, developing strategic client relationships, and leading high‑performing business development teams is essential. Strong knowledge of the Qatari market and established relationships with government entities, major contractors, and industrial clients are highly desirable. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong commercial judgement, negotiation skills, executive presence, and a consistent track record of delivering sustainable business growth.
