Job Summary
The MEP Technician is responsible for installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems to ensure safe and efficient functioning of buildings and facilities in compliance with project specifications and Qatari regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on MEP equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoot faults in HVAC units, pumps, motors, lighting, panels, and plumbing fixtures.
- Read and interpret MEP drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Coordinate with engineers and supervisors for daily tasks and site activities.
- Maintain maintenance logs, checklists, and work reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, company SOPs, and local regulations.
- Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
- Diploma / ITI in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, or MEP-related trade.
- Technical certifications are an advantage.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as an MEP Technician.
- Experience in commercial buildings, hospitals, malls, or industrial facilities preferred.
- GCC experience, particularly Qatar, is an advantage.
- Hands‑on knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Basic troubleshooting and fault‑finding skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
