Accounting Clerk

The Accounting Clerk assists in overseeing application of bi-monthly statements, in the collection of receivables, and will assist service centers with related problems. This position will also perform all billing, accounts payable and collections. This position works a Monday-Friday 8am-5pm schedule and has a pay rate of $14/hour.

• Reconcile bi-monthly statements
• Audit all shipments paid on statements
• Work Allied collections lists
• Work Allied due from shippers collections
• Work Allied non-ship expenses
• Assist in balancing clearing accounts
• Perform end of day posting/reporting for receivables
• Answer questions about credit card transactions, rating, billing and request credit card refunds as necessary
• Other duties as assigned

• Knowledge of company software
• Knowledge of accounting software
• Knowledge of Allied requirements and processes
• Interpersonal communication, organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask, and basic math skills
• Ability to operate 10-key calculator
• Knowledge of general bookkeeping procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
