The Job You Will Perform
  • Completes the billing process accurately and completely for a designated group of accounts, either by payer financial class or other method of assignment.
  • Responds to inquiries by mail or phone that relate to the designated group of accounts.
  • Responsible for the timely and complete disposition of third‑party receivables for assigned financial class(es) or the assigned portion of the total accounts outstanding.
  • Assists the patient/guarantor in resolving all issues related to the account, determining acceptable payment plans, and continuing to follow up on accounts until conclusion.
  • Establishes payment plans as needed.
  • Strives to handle accounts in ways that maximize timely collections and minimize bad debts.
Qualifications, Skills and/or Knowledge You Bring
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • One to two years of previous collection experience preferred.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
  • Must be able to work independently and pay attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite.
