We are seeking a qualified Senior Account Specialist I to join the team at our Montavlo, Alabama facility. This position manages assigned customer accounts by handling a variety of pre‑/post sales functions to ensure the highest quality of customer service.
Principal Responsibilities- Manages contract customer accounts $15m and above annually
- Advanced inventory management and review
- Manage advanced consignment inventory with 15 or more locations
- Performs target reviews for customers
- Understands supported contract and adheres to requirements
- Ability to run and interpret complex analytical reports and reconcile discrepancies
- Leads customer/internal meetings when necessary
- The ability to work overtime / storm response when necessary
- Proactively puts together and understands complex price adjustment
- Assists with RFQ's for assigned contract customers
- Prioritize incoming emails and tasks to meet deadlines
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills
- Complete Master Data requests as needed
- Advanced Power BI skills
- Anticipate the requirements needed to support the RSMs/Directors
- Travel as needed for customer relations or inventory counts 15%
- Proactively communicates pertinent information with cross‑functional teams and supervisor as required
- Ability to communicate with customers
- Assist with special projects as needed

Qualifications- Education:
Associate degree (A.) or equivalent; or four or more years related experience and/or training - Experience:
Five or more years customer service experience; four or more years industry knowledge; inventory management knowledge

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite
- Strong organizational skills, proactive attitude with exceptional attention to detail
- Capability to multi‑task and work under the pressure of deadlines
- Ability to work in a team environment and interface interdepartmentally
- Demonstrated ability to review RFP’s and to identify business issues
- Ability to make sound decisions with minimum supervision and delegate effectively
- Ability to build strong working relationships and have an excellent customer service record
