This role oversees servicing, maintenance and repair of assigned units for existing installations, ensuring quality, safety, and cost management while supporting area objectives through effective project oversight and employee management.
Responsibilities- Build a safe and effective team environment by leading field technicians to ensure maintenance meets quality standards as well as contract requirements.
- Coordinate routes, scheduling, ordering parts and verifying payroll accuracy while assuring profitability.
- Partner with Area/Territory Operations Managers to implement best practices and achieve service financial and delivery metrics.
- Perform regular site inspections to deliver exceptional service and conduct safety audits at required intervals.
- Educate technicians on processes, tools and standards through training and performance programs; continuously improve service delivery.
- Manage logistics and implement preventive maintenance strategies; schedule quarterly customer site visits.
- Collaborate with the local sales team to estimate service orders; maintain relationships with local IUEC business agents and resolve disputes.
- Partner with New Installation and Modernization Project Managers during contract conversions.
- Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and customers to investigate, resolve and address operational challenges.
- Onboarding training focused on service and maintenance.
- Leadership development through fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Supervising customer accounts while navigating industry regulations.
- Business acumen development mastering P&L financial management and Power BI dashboards.
- In‑depth knowledge of elevator/escalator systems through on‑site shadowing.
- 5+ years of technical leadership experience or elevator industry experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant field.
- Strong problem‑solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive employee relations issues.
- Proven leadership skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Adaptability in a fast‑paced environment.
- Flexibility to be on call as needed.
