Position SummaryThe Team Member Engagement Coordinator (TEC) independently administers, analyzes, assigned workforce engagement programs, communication practices, and Operations follow-up controls across the facility. The role evaluates engagement information, compares possible operational responses, develops management recommendations, and coordinates approved initiatives.
The primary duty is nonmanual administrative work directly related to management and general business operations. This role is responsible for engagement analysis, program planning and execution, communication planning, process improvement, controls, and management recommendations. Routine distribution, recordkeeping, tracker maintenance, calendars, event logistics, and similar support are also key.
Working under general direction, the Coordinator exercises discretion and independent judgment within approved objectives, policies, and functional boundaries. Within documented delegated limits, the Coordinator may select engagement methods, determine work sequencing and timing, modify nonmaterial project details, evaluate alternative responses, and recommend management action without step-by-step instruction. Operations retains final authority for material business decisions.
Requirements Engagement Analysis and Management Recommendations- Select appropriate methods, including floor presence and listening sessions, to collect and evaluate nonconfidential engagement information
- Plan and evaluate assigned recognition, appreciation, listening, and engagement initiatives within approved objectives
- Distinguish isolated requests from systemic trends and compare possible operational responses based on impact, urgency, feasibility, cost, and functional risk
- Analyze consistency of engagement routines across shifts and departments and recommend process improvements
- Independently recommend operational engagement actions while immediately routing individual employee matters to the appropriate functional owner
- Develop engagement communication plans addressing audience, channel, sequencing, timing, approval needs, and measures of understanding
- Draft and coordinate approved communications and maintain essential workforce communication materials
- Assess communication gaps and recommend changes to improve reach, clarity, consistency, and leadership credibility
- Collect frequently asked questions, identify recurring themes, and coordinate validated responses from the appropriate functional owner
- Administer and improve the Operations follow-up trackers confirming Supervisor and Manager review of required attendance and safety reports
- Monitor completion of leadership follow-up actions and elevate outstanding items
- Analyze recurring completion gaps, identify likely process causes, and recommend control or cadence improvements to Operations leadership
- Track completion only; does not calculate points or participate in corrective action
- Translate approved site priorities into program objectives, project plans, milestones, success measures, stakeholder requirements, and evaluation methods
- Prepare management-ready analyses identifying material trends, risks, options, recommended actions, accountable owners, and open decisions
- Evaluate program results and recommend whether assigned initiatives should continue, be adjusted, expanded, or discontinued
- Plan and coordinate the post-onboarding site-integration experience after HR/TA onboarding, including 30/60/90-day engagement check-ins and supervisor follow-through
