US Department of Defense - - Responsibilities:
Provide appropriate developmental care and instruction for children and youth, aged 6 weeks to 18 years, in Child and Youth Services programs;
Actively supervise and account for the whereabouts and safety of children and youth during daily routines, indoors and outdoors, on field trips, outings, and special events;
Assist in implementing planned, developmentally appropriate activities, schedules, and routines for children/youth using prepared curriculum and materials;
Help arrange for or serve snacks or meals;
Identify and respond to emergencies including evacuations, illnesses, and physical and emotional needs
