Job Overview

We are a leading commercial construction company in the greater Mobile, AL area. We are looking for an experienced Construction P6 Scheduler to join our growing team.

Salary: $95,000 - $130,000 per year.

• Manage incoming invitations to bid by organizing and distributing information as it is received.
• Issue invitations to bid to subcontractor partners. Receive and organize incoming subcontractor bids for review by team.
• Identify, coordinate, and track key dates and deliverables.
• Assist in maintaining internal historical cost, project, and subcontractor databases.
• Assist the entire team (Business Development, Project Management, Marketing, etc.) with the generation of preconstruction material for presentation purposes.
• Actively participate on internal team(s) which focus on continuous improvements of the business and its processes.

• Experience in estimating engineering or similar fields.
• Understanding of working relationships with owners, architects, and subcontractors.
• Ability to participate in pre-bid meetings and site walks/surveys.
• Review design documents to determine necessary trades for bidding a complete project.
• Prepare detailed scope sheets for individual disciplines on a large project and smaller projects.
• Communicate clearly with subcontractor partners.
• Knowledge of material unit costs, systems unit costs, and buildout square foot costs.
• Familiarity with all plans, specifications, and documents within assigned projects.
• Understanding of policies and procedures relevant to the position.
• Understanding of working within various building environments.
