CRH - - Responsibilities:
Operate the asphalt screed on a paving machine to control material into the paver and final depths;
Maintain awareness of preparatory work, grades, drainage, paving patterns, and compaction as they relate to asphalt paving;
Ensure equipment is in safe, efficient working condition and perform minor servicing or report major problems to supervision;
Read and interpret simple instructions and memos; perform basic arithmetic related to measurements;
Assist with general maintenance and upkeep of paving equipment as needed
