Relationship Banker I

Responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience on the cash line and phone. Contribute to improving the financial wellness of customers by creating personal connections, processing transactions, and resolving end‑to‑end inquiries. Ideal candidates have prior teller, limited banking, or retail sales experience and seek growth opportunities.

• Provide consistent customer experience on the cash line, handling deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other typical teller transactions.
• Answer customer inquiries about products and services; fulfill basic service requests such as new/replacement cards, info changes, PIN resets, reordering checks, and basic problem resolution.
• Develop relationships with customers and stay informed about their accounts.
• Educate customers on standard consumer products and digital solutions (mobile, online, ATM).
• Assist branch and team members with basic tasks to resolve customer issues.
• Refer customers to internal experts for more complex financial needs.
• Follow bank processes, procedures, and regulations, including duties delegated by the Branch Manager; manage operational risks.
• Help achieve branch targets by identifying needs and providing guidance on Regions’ solutions.
• Conduct outbound phone calls to educate customers on emerging technology and help meet financial needs.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Availability to work Saturdays as needed.
• Cash handling and processing experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Frequent computer use, typing, and sustained monitor attention.
• Ability to walk, stand, and lift up to 20 pounds.

• One year of banking, cash‑handling, or customer service experience.

• Adherence to policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Assistance with digital banking offerings.
• Handling multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Oversight of large sums of cash.
• Strong customer focus and relationship‑building skills.

Part time, 20 hours per week. Available Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and occasional Saturday mornings.

Target range: $35,640.99 – $42,192.00 USD. Eligible for incentive pay plans. Overtime under the Fair Labor Standards Act is available for hours over 40 per week.
