Life South Community Blood Centers is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Part-Time Donor Scheduler in Gainesville, FL. If you’re passionate about helping others, this is your chance to play a key role in the fight to save lives—while making a lasting impact on your community!

In this vital role, you’ll be the voice that inspires others to give the gift of life, reaching out to donors to schedule appointments and helping guide them toward life-saving apheresis donations when appropriate. Previous customer service, call center, and/or phone sales experience preferred.

• Monday-Thursday: Morning: 9am-2pm, Afternoon: 1pm-6pm, Evening: 4pm-9pm
• Friday: Morning: 9am-2pm, Afternoon: 1pm-6pm
• Saturday and Sunday: Morning: 10am-2pm

Hours are flexible, but must be available 20-25 hours per week

• Inspire donors to schedule life-saving appointments and donate blood
• Guide donors through the process, answering questions and addressing concerns with care
• Promote exciting local blood drives and special events to encourage donations
• Help us crush collection goals and ensure our community has the blood it needs
• Performance goals and metrics are clearly communicated and monitored to ensure your success

• Excellent communication skills – you’ll be the friendly voice that motivates others
• A love for connecting with people and motivating them to make a difference
• Comfort using phones and computers (we’ll provide training!)
• Strong time-management skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends, as needed
• High school diploma or GED (preferred, but not required)
• Previous customer service, call center, and/or phone sales experience preferred

Life South is a non-profit community blood bank serving more than 150 hospitals in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee. We are committed to meeting the blood supply needs of hospitals and their patients by providing the highest quality blood components and services. With more than 45 donor centers, 55 bloodmobiles and 2,000 blood drives a month, our Life South team is dedicated to making sure the blood is there when you or your family is in need.

This is a part‑time position. Starting salary range is $14.00 - $15.40 an hour.
