Job Title

Dental Assistant – Full-Time at Market Walk Dental Care, Parrish, FL

• Tuesday: 7:30am-5:30pm
• Wednesday-Friday: 6:30am-5:30pm

• No nights or weekends

Market Walk Dental Care is a heartland dental supported practice located at 11679 Moccasin Wallow Road, Parrish, FL 34219. The office has an 11‑person team focused on collaboration, communication, and community.

• Greet and welcome patients, maintain comfort and provide education throughout treatment
• Conduct thorough review of patient health history
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography, etc.)
• Provide chairside assistance (four‑handed dentistry) to support dentists during procedures
• Use Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping
• Prepare treatment room with strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA & CDC recommendations
• Manage supply and inventory levels, place and expedite orders as needed
• Partner with providers and team to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office workflow

• High school diploma or GED
• State‑issued Dental Assistant permit and x‑ray credentials
• Minimum 2 years of dental assistant experience
• Experience with Dentrix or similar dental software
• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• Microsoft Office suite experience

• Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual or in‑person training sessions periodically throughout the year
• TB test required by pre‑employment process (not applicable in FL & TN)
• Regular HIPAA training and compliance with PHI protection
