Registered Dental Hygienist
Cottage Dental – Fullerton, CA
Full-Time
Pay: $55 - $65
Cottage Dental is seeking a friendly, patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist to join our Fullerton team. We are looking for a provider who values patient education, strong clinical care, and teamwork while helping create a positive patient experience.
This role is ideal for a hygienist who is comfortable in a productive general dentistry environment and enjoys building long-term patient relationships.
Responsibilities- Perform dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, and SRP procedures
- Conduct periodontal charting and patient assessments
- Take diagnostic radiographs
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventative care
- Assist in identifying treatment needs and supporting patient understanding
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols
- Collaborate with doctors and clinical team to support efficient patient flow
- Active California Registered Dental Hygienist license
- Local anesthesia certification as required by California regulations
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Comfortable working in a team-oriented clinical environment
- Experience with Dentrix or similar dental software preferred
- Laser certification preferred but not required
