Dental Associates of North AL Decatur & Children's is seeking a full-time Ortho/Dental Assistant to join our growing team! This is a great opportunity for an experienced dental assistant looking to expand their skills in both general dentistry and orthodontics.

• Status: Full-Time
• Location: Dental Associates of North AL Decatur & Children's

Schedule

• Monday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Tuesday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Thursday: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• Friday: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

What We're Looking For

• At least 1 year of dental assisting experience
• Orthodontic experience is preferred but not required
• Willingness to learn and grow in an orthodontic setting
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills
• Team-oriented and dependable

Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor during dental and orthodontic procedures
• Prepare and maintain treatment rooms
• Sterilize instruments and follow infection control protocols
• Take dental records, X-rays, and impressions as needed
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
• Provide exceptional patient care and support
