Tech Designer - Fore

The Tech Designer will play a key role in the technical design team, maintaining fit logs, building patterns, and ensuring the technical integrity of products from concept to production.

• Collaborate with Design and related teams to determine fit priorities and meet timelines.
• Build and maintain technical specifications for assigned products, including bill of materials, construction details, measurements, cutting plans, packaging, and technical images.
• Create and update patterns from concept prototypes through final fit approval.
• Work with Merchandising/Design to set appropriate fit for assigned products.
• Complete technical specifications and patterns according to project deadlines.
• Track and monitor progress of fit samples, size‑set samples, and pre‑production samples.
• Evaluate fit, measurement, and construction accuracy and quality of samples.
• Maintain consistency of technical design and product creation processes.
• Create initial specs based on existing body blocks to uphold fit and silhouette, including measurements, construction details, and technical sketches.
• Manage the block library per style after approvals have been sent.

• 1+ years of technical design or related experience within the apparel industry.
• Experience in sewing/pattern making and mock‑up creation.
• Experience with pattern design software or 3D clothing mock‑up tools such as Marvelous Designer or Blender.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
• Proficiency in Photoshop and other Adobe suite products is a plus.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Product Development, Fashion Design, Buying, Tech Design, or Merchandising is a plus, but not required.
