Pathconnexx Internship Program
Les Laboratoires IDEXX remains committed to supporting the training and education of future veterinary pathologists. We understand the importance of gaining diverse experiences during your residency and are pleased to offer, for the ninth consecutive year, the opportunity to visit the behind-the-scenes of IDEXX through our Path Connexx internship program.
What is Path Connexx? A unique learning experience for veterinary pathology residents who are currently enrolled in an anatomical pathology residency program and will begin their final year in the fall of 2026.
Residents will be exposed to the daily reality of our pathologists by working alongside them virtually, as they perform pathological diagnostics and consultations for practicing veterinarians. During this internship, you will be integrated into our international team of pathologists who will share with you a wide range of stimulating pathology cases specifically selected for you based on your interests and the objectives of your program.
Whatto Expect:
The internship will take place in January/February 2027, at a date set by mutual agreement.
You will participate in the evaluation of digitized diagnostic specimens, associated consultations, and other activities.
You will interact virtually with several IDEXX pathologists with varied professional backgrounds and fields of interest.
You will assist and participate in our pathology team meetings, according to the schedule (e.g. rounds).
DVM diploma or equivalent
Be 18 years or older, and have successfully completed 2 years of pathology residency.
Be familiar with current topics in the veterinary diagnostic medicine field.
Previously passed Phase I of the ACVP exam would be desirable.
