Make a meaningful difference supporting the well-being and success of K-12 students while bringing your expertise as a School Psychologist or Psychometrist to an engaging, on-site contract position. This opportunity offers a full school year of hands-on experience, with a strong potential for continued employment into extended school year and next school year assignments, pending performance.

Interview sessions for these roles will be held exclusively in person on April 27, 2026. Two positions are available-one housed at an elementary school, and a second, itinerant role tasked with supporting students across a small cluster of private schools.

What We're Looking For:

• Active Alabama School Psychology license (must provide proof)
• Previous experience serving K-12 student populations preferred
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and work within various settings (schools and age groups)
• Excellent communication, assessment, and consultation skills
• Strong understanding of academic, behavioral, and social-emotional supports
• Flexibility, adaptability, and reliability for potential itinerant assignments
• Availability to be on-site 37.5 hours per week throughout the contract term

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psycho educational assessments and interpret results
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and families in developing interventions and IEP recommendations
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
• Document findings and maintain accurate records in accordance with district and legal standards
• Support positive student outcomes within a variety of school environments
