Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified First Class Pre-K Lead Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering a developmentally appropriate curriculum, creating a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, and working collaboratively with families and staff to support each child's individual growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and implement engaging and developmentally appropriate lesson plans that align with state early learning standards.

* Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and development.

* Employ a variety of instructional techniques and strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.

* Assess and monitor student progress, using data to inform and adjust instructional practices.

* Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians about student progress and classroom activities.

* Collaborate with other educators, support staff, and administrators to enhance the educational experience for all students.

* Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Qualifications:

All lead teachers must possess one of the following degrees:

* Human Environmental Science Degree

* Concentration in Early Childhood Development or Child Development.

* Early Childhood Education Degree (B.S., B.A., or M.A./M.S.)

* Completion of a bachelor's degree program leading to P-3 certification in Early Childhood Education with a minimum of 18 credit hours in early childhood/child development coursework.

* Special Education Degree in Early Childhood

* Minimum of 18 credit hours in early childhood/child development coursework, or a bachelor's degree program leading to certification in Early Childhood Special Education with a minimum of 18 credit hours in early childhood/child development coursework.

Preferred Skills and Attributes:

* Strong knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

* Commitment to continuous professional improvement.

* Experience working with diverse populations and in inclusive classroom settings.
