About the Role

We are seeking a dependable and caring Childcare Teacher - Part-Time Closing to join our early childhood education team. This role provides afternoon and evening classroom support, helping ensure a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children while assisting with end-of-day routines.

The ideal candidate is reliable, flexible, and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team to help classrooms finish each day successfully.

Key Responsibilities

* Support teachers with daily classroom activities and afternoon routines.

* Supervise children during indoor play, outdoor play, and classroom transitions.

* Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized learning environment.

* Assist with preparing and organizing classroom materials.

* Support children with daily routines while providing positive guidance and encouragement.

* Complete end-of-day classroom responsibilities, including cleaning, organizing, and preparing classrooms for the next day.

* Follow all health, safety, and licensing regulations.

* Work collaboratively with teachers and leadership to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

* High School Diploma or equivalent required.

* Experience working with young children or in a childcare setting preferred.

* Strong communication and teamwork skills.

* Reliable, dependable, and able to work afternoon and evening hours.

* Ability to adapt to the needs of the center and provide classroom support where needed.

Preferred Skills

* Experience in a childcare center, daycare, or preschool setting.

* Knowledge of early childhood development and developmentally appropriate practices.

* Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

* CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
