Pastor of Student Ministries (Part-Time)
First Baptist Church – Grand Bay, Alabama
Position SummaryFirst Baptist Church is seeking a Part‑Time Pastor of Student Ministries to lead and disciple middle and high school students in a growing Southern Baptist church. We are looking for a leader who loves students, values biblical discipleship, and desires to help build a thriving student ministry.
For the right candidate, this position has the potential to transition into a full‑time ministry role based on experience, qualifications, and the needs of the church.
Compensation- Competitive part‑time salary

- Lead Sunday School and Sunday evening student ministry.
- Develop and teach biblically faithful lessons.
- Build relationships with students and their families.
- Plan outreach events, fellowships, camps, and mission opportunities.
- Recruit and lead volunteers.
- Work with the Senior Pastor to develop and grow the student ministry.
Applicants should:
- Demonstrate a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Affirm the Baptist Faith & Message 2000.
- Have a heart for discipling students.
- Be teachable, dependable, and spiritually mature.
- Have ministry experience or formal ministry training (preferred).
This position offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact in the lives of students while serving in a healthy, growing church. The Senior Pastor believes in mentoring ministry leaders, providing encouragement, practical guidance, and opportunities for increasing leadership responsibility as the ministry grows.
