Job Description Skills
- Must be a student of Great Basin College
- Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits for the semester and maintain a 2.0 GPA
- Must qualify for Work Study or RSP through Student Financial Services
- Computer experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must be personal, prompt, take initiative and have great communication skills
- Covering the front desk, answering the phone and greeting visitors
- Scheduling appointments for academic advisors
- Answering basic questions from students, other staff, faculty and community members and/or directing them to other departments as required
- Work in an environment that handles confidential student files and paperwork, adhering to FERPA law and regulations
- Special projects from advisors
- Other duties as assigned
$15.00 per hour
HoursUp to 19 hours per week with a maximum of 79.5 hours per month.
