Job Description and Responsibilities
This is a full-time, on-site role as a School Psychologist serving a school located in the Cook, Nebraska area.
The School Psychologist will be responsible for providing therapy services to students, conducting assessments, developing IEP plans, evaluating and eligibility processes, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams (therapists, educators, parents), supporting students according to their IEP. The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for working with students with special needs.
Job Details- Full Time, 37.5 hours/week
- Following the school calendar start and end dates:
August/September 2026 - May, 2027 - Grades:
Elementary - Middle/High school. - Job Duties:
evaluations, consultation, eligibility and diagnostics, student services - Guaranteed Hours, including documentation, administrative and planning time
- On-site, in person
- Dual support from the District and Thera Peds
- Manageable caseloads
- $60 – $75+/hour
Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology
- NASP License (preferred but not required)
- State License and/or School Psychologist and Department of Education (when required)
- 2+ years of experience (preferred but not required)
- Knowledge of Counseling and Psychological Assessment
- Experience working with children and adolescents
- Organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in use of technology
- Fingerprint background clearance
Working and playing with students requires that employees must be able to perform the necessary physical movement functions, as needed, such as lifting, sitting, walking, standing, crawling, and engaging with students in all physical locations and activities, while adhering to the duties outlined by the district.
