The Barbour County Board of Education is seeking a Says Teacher for Southeast Alabama Youth Services, Inc. in Louisville, AL. This position reports to the Principal, Superintendent, and/or other designees and is classified as Exempt with a 9-month / 187 day contract period. The salary is based on the Board Approved Salary Matrix, and the position is open until filled.
The primary responsibilities include providing an educational environment conducive to student success, implementing an effective educational program, serving as a student advocate and professional resource, and fulfilling various duties and responsibilities as outlined in the job description.
Qualifications for this position include a Bachelor's degree or higher, a valid Alabama teaching certificate, suitability criteria under the Alabama Child Protection Act, proficiency in communication, interpersonal skills, curriculum development, problem-solving, technology use, physical and professional attributes, punctuality, and any additional requirements as specified by the Superintendent or Principal.
