Job Description
The College of Agriculture Department of Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness at Louisiana State University seeks an 9‑month Instructor. The role is 100% teaching and involves developing and delivering eight undergraduate courses per academic year in areas such as agricultural economics, agribusiness management, sales, commodity and food marketing, futures and options trading, agricultural finance, farm and rural land appraisal, and related subjects.
Job DutiesDevelop and teach the assigned courses. Potential duties may also include undergraduate student advising, assisting with the internship program, and providing leadership for student activities, clubs, and organizations.
Minimum Qualifications- Master’s degree (M.S.) in Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness, Economics, or a related field.
- Previous undergraduate teaching experience.
- Relevant experience in key job responsibilities may substitute for a degree if the candidate meets the required years of experience specified in the job description.
