Location: Normal
Summary:
The Department of Family and Consumer Sciences offers programs in Apparel, Merchandising and Design;
Family and Consumer Sciences Education;
Human Development and Family Studies; and Nutrition and Hospitality Management. The Department is accredited by the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences. The rank and tenure status of position is negotiable based on qualifications.
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Human Development and Family Studies
- Engage in research and scholarly writing.
- Advise undergraduate students.
- Serve on various university, college and departmental committees.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements (including years of experience, certifications, licenses, etc.)
- A doctoral degree in Family and Consumer Sciences or closely related area with a specialization in Human Development and Family Studies and or Child Development
- Background and experience in teaching and research in Human Development and Family Studies, or Child Development is preferred.
