Job Summary
To create a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth; to establish effective rapport with pupils; to motivate pupils to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge in accordance with each pupil's ability; and to establish good relationships with parents and other staff members.
Minimum of Bachelor's Degree. Must have certification to teach Special Education K-12 in schools of Alabama. Willing to assist with Special Olympics and other after-hours Special Education activities. Other requirements as deemed necessary by the Lawrence County Board of Education.
Countywide
Salary Schedule adopted by the Lawrence County Board of Education for the effective date of employment.
