Summary CFD Research Corporation is seeking a Multi-Skilled Technician to join our dynamic team at our state-of-the-art Engineering Test Center in Hollywood, Alabama. This role involves designing, fabricating, and building complex parts and sub-assemblies, supporting our innovative technology development programs. The ideal candidate will leverage their skills in assembly and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems to contribute to our engineering projects.
Responsibilities- Design and fabricate complex parts and sub-assemblies.
- Assemble and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and P&.
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to support technology development programs.
- Utilize a variety of tools and equipment efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of work performed.
- Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
- US Citizenship with eligibility to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
- Associate degree or higher with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a maintenance/technician environment.
- Proven experience in assembly and basic maintenance.
- Proficient in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Familiarity with AS9100 processes.
- Experience with basic manual machining practices.
- Knowledge of basic fabrication and welding processes.
- Strong technical knowledge across multiple fields.
- Attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
This individual will work onsite in Hollywood, AL.
