PositionMaintenance Group Leader
Your OpportunityAs a Maintenance Group Leader, you will play a critical role in our McCalla facility, overseeing maintenance operations that support major global automakers. You will lead a technical team to solve complex problems, optimize high-tech robotics, and ensure we maintain the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
Your Impact- Strategic Leadership: Plan and coordinate maintenance activities across all shifts, mentoring your team to ensure peak performance and technical mastery.
- Technical Excellence: Lead troubleshooting of advanced PLC systems (Allen Bradley), robotics, and complex electrical/mechanical circuits.
- Continuous Improvement: Reduce equipment downtime and scrap by implementing world-class preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
- Project Oversight: Manage project plans, inventory, and disaster recovery for high-value equipment and tooling.
- Safety Champion: Serve as a key member of our safety committee, ensuring a secure environment through the Gestamp Health & Safety System (GHSS).
- BS in Engineering/Technology + 3 years of automated manufacturing experience.
- OR AS in Electronics Technology + 5 years of automated manufacturing experience.
- OR 7+ years of direct leadership experience in a similar industrial environment.
- Expertise:
Strong knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC (RSLogix 500/5000), robotics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
