  • Perform development tests, create and develop technical documentation, and establish technical specifications and manufacturing procedures for launcher structures and other related space products.
  • Perform sample preparation and support the production team in creation of manufacturing routings and planning for material testing.

  • Manage external suppliers to ensure material testing is conducted in line with internal specifications and results are delivered on plan as per the Integrated Master Schedule.
  • Establish new equipment installation, verification, acceptance, and long‑term calibration; collaborate with the Materials & Process group for equivalency investigations.
  • Support the wider Materials & Process group in all material‑based improvements related to safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people.
Your Story
  • B.S. in Materials Science / Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience overseeing and coordinating production activities in a production environment.
  • Excellent program management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Passionate and cooperative performer who puts team success first.
  • Good organizational and coordination skills.
  • Formal project management experience or certification, preferred.
  • Solid understanding of failure modes, load distribution, stress calculations, etc., and how this relates to testing, is preferred.
  • Experience with mechanical testing at the element, subcomponent, and component levels is preferred.
