Lead Production Test Engineer

• Execute integration and test activities within an Assembly, Integration, and Test environment to verify system performance and readiness.
• Create, develop, and maintain test procedures that support system integration and vehicle delivery.
• Support documentation control, configuration tracking, release processes, and government submittals.
• Coordinate daily integration and test activities across multiple internal and external disciplines.
• Obtain certification and perform duties as a Certified Test Conductor / Test Engineer, supporting system integration and verification efforts.

• Hands‑on engineering environment supporting hardware integration and test operations.
• Work performed in laboratory, manufacturing, and test facilities.
• Fast‑paced, mission‑critical setting requiring collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and program teams.
• Occasional presentations to senior leadership and government customers.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence in all activities.

• Active Interim Secret security clearance required prior to start.
• Experience in Assembly, Integration, and Test (AIT) operations.
• Experience in writing and executing test procedures in an Assembly, Test, Launch Operations (ATLO), or production environment.
• Willingness and ability to present technical information to senior customers and Lockheed Martin executives.

• Prior certification as a Certified Test Conductor, Certified Principal Engineer, or industry equivalent.
• Experience with, or willingness to learn, Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs).
• Background testing weapon systems in a production or operational environment.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings, schematics, specifications, and requirements.
• Experience in or adjacent to manufacturing engineering or test engineering, including hardware integration and test flows.
• Proven success working on cross‑functional, multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with Lockheed Martin Space systems tools (e.g., SAP, EPDM, VECAMS, PMP Database, Automation Framework) or similar industry tools.
• Hands‑on experience with basic laboratory equipment (power supplies, multimeters, signal analyzers, etc.).
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with customers, program leadership, and engineering teams.
