Job Description

As a member of the Program Management - PPAP team, the PPAP Quality Engineer will be responsible for coordinating supplier and verifying quality standards in accordance with requirements of the organization and the customer.

Responsibilities

* Executing PPAP Process for components and assemblies on the given time frame and milestones

* Coordination and steering of supplier PPAP submissions in terms of documentation and hardware.

* Ensuring the quality of submitted documentation by reviewing and analyzing it in detail.

* Effective communication to Customer Quality responsible to align requirements and milestones.

* Upload PPAP submissions in customer systems.

* Internal and external reporting of status and KPI's

Qualifications

* SQMS/ PIA Mercedes-Benz experience

* 2 - 5 years' experience in automotive industry

* Knowledge of auditing processes like VDA
6.3 / AIAG

* Structured problem-solving mindset

* Bachelor's degree in a related field

Languages

English

Bonus if you speak Spanish and/or German
