Duties & Responsibilities
Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Engineering Aide Spec (Level
3) to join our team in Courtland, AL! We are seeking a detail-oriented individual possessing excellent technical skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment. This position will execute a wide variety of tasks in support of cable/harness fabrication testing on our Production Operations Team! This position is to support our first shift on a 4x10 schedule:
Monday-Thursday . However, the position may require periodic or unscheduled overtime and/or nonstandard workweek depending on program schedule requirements and equipment availability. Summary of key duties for this position:
- Reviews and evaluates test requirements.
- Develops, prepares, and executes test procedures supporting production and development programs.
- Provides troubleshooting support, identify cause and corrective action to resolve technical production problems and develop re-test instructions when needed.
- Identify and support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and increase the repeatability, efficiency, and throughput of test operations.
- Maintain and calibrate test equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Perform automated and manual testing of cables and harnesses to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Work collaboratively in small teams to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Support the latest cutting-edge programs in the aerospace industry, including new and emerging technologies.
• Familiarity with DITMCO and/or CIRRIS testers
• Electrical harness manufacturing experience
• Familiarity with analog and digital measurement techniques and instrumentation (e.g. RF Test Equipment, DMM, Power Supplies, etc.)
• Experience with (or familiarity in) technical writing (for example, technical writing for test procedures or reports)
• Experience working with SAP, EPDM, DOORS, CREO, CAMEO, Automation Framework, or industry equivalent(s)
• Active Secret Clearance
• Work experience in the Aerospace and/or Defense industry
• Certified Test Conductor or industry equivalent
• Experience in an assembly/integration and test environment
• Ability to maintain process discipline in a dynamic and fast paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to grow and seek new challenges
• Demonstrated teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build solid relationships with team members
