- Proficiency with 3D CAD software (Solid Works preferred).
- Experience creating production drawings and engineering documentation.
- Knowledge of structural analysis, engineering calculations, and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
- Understanding of metal fabrication, welding processes, and steel and aluminum design.
- Experience creating and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of DOT, FMVSS, NHTSA, SAE, and other transportation industry regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, manufacturing, sales, and supply chain teams.
- Experience designing commercial trailers or heavy‑haul transportation equipment.
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems, suspension systems, and axle configurations.
- Experience supporting Lean Manufacturing or Lean Six Sigma initiatives.
- Familiarity with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles.
- Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
- Opportunity to work on innovative, custom‑engineered products.
- Collaborative engineering and manufacturing environment.
- Career growth and professional development opportunities.
- Stable, growing organization with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
